Once again, there are families living on base. But the former Naval base is now Liberty Station, and these residents are civilians living in communities called Admiralty Row, Beacon Point and Anchor Cove.  While all neighborhoods were sold, homes may be available on the resale market.

The charming architecture is consistent with the style of Liberty Station and the surrounding Point Loma neighborhoods. Graceful designs from Spanish, Mediterranean and Italian architecture are mixed within the detached neighborhoods, leaving a pedestrian-friendly feel to the streets - and encouraging neighborly interaction. The attached town homes of Anchor Cove also help preserve the historic character of Liberty Station with Mission Revival architecture reminiscent of early California mission buildings.
