The hotel district hosts 150-room Hilton Homewood Suites, and a soon to open, 200-room Courtyard by Marriott as well as the former 33,000-square-foot Bayside Conference Center.
Also included on site is the USS Recruit.
Affectionately dubbed the USS Neversail by the sailors who trained aboard her, the structure will be renovated and eventually opened as a museum.
A portion of the waterfront esplanade, a meandering pedestrian parkway that follows the boat channel through the Liberty Station community, will also be developed. The esplanade will eventually connect to a pedestrian bridge over the boat channel giving access to Spanish Landing. In the adjacent Harbor Square, four restaurant and retail sites are also planned.
There is also a 650-room Nickelodeon hotel planned on the other side of the boat channel.
