Boot Camp 1960

Not doing well in high school so my dad sent me off to join the navy, July 1960 NTC San Diego. I did not finish high school but must say with the discipline my dad provided and his principal of hard work and to have a willingness to learn brought me a long ways over a twenty year career in the Navy, many of those years as a Navy Frogman, my childhood dream.

Thanks to the Navy and Boot Camp where I first was introduced to my many benefits, Education being one of them, I was able to go from a non high school graduate to now having a Law Degree. I would do it again. Including the rough times.
