Occupying several old industrial buildings along the water, Ocean Village will be a maritime themed retail and light industrial area with eventual public access to the boat channel. Sail makers and small boat repair shops will make this their home. Visitors will be able to rent kayaks, launch boats and dine at a small waterfront café. And a portion of the esplanade, a meandering pedestrian parkway that follows the boat channel through the Liberty Station community, will also be developed here.
