HISTORIC BUILDING IN JOHN & ALICE FINN OFFICE PLAZA FOR SALE

A building from the trio that makes up the John and Alice Finn Office Plaza is for sale, announced Matt Hietbrink of McMillin Commercial, a Corky McMillin Company.

Located at 2790 Truxtun Road in the heart of the former Naval Training Center’s historic core, the existing historic building recently underwent extensive renovations including new mechanical, electric and plumbing systems, roof and exterior finishes and interior common area improvements. The building also features impressive nine-foot ceilings and ample parking close to the entrances.

“The charm of the historic architecture paired with modern amenities inside make this a very desirable space for a variety of users,” said Hietbrink. “Its prime location next to the Sail Ho golf club and the cultural district at Liberty Station presents recreational and other leisure opportunities just steps from the office door.”

Zoned for medical or office use, the building provides a total of 17,300 square feet divisible into office spaces sized at approximately 3,500 square feet. Currently, Glow MD Skin Care occupies 3,000 square feet in the building.

The John and Alice Finn Office Plaza, which is made up of three renovated historic buildings and an adjoining plaza, was named in honor of 97-year-old Lieutenant John Finn, the oldest surviving Medal of Honor recipient in the United States and the first one decorated in World War II

Two of the three buildings comprising the office plaza were built by the U.S. Navy in the early 1920s and served as the Medical Administration Center and Eye and Dental Clinic for recruits at NTC and the third building was built during World War II to serve as the Naval Hospital.
